Submissions for issue 47 are now open. Below are our submission guidelines. With questions, please reach out to scrivenereditorial@gmail.com.

Guidelines

Prose and poetry submissions must be a .docx file (Google Docs included) without any identifying information, such as your name or email. Only include identifying information in the Google Form. Each piece must be submitted as an individual submission. The document title must be only the title of the submitted piece. When formatting your piece, please use Times New Roman or a similarly legible serif typeface. Please fill out the form again for each new submission.

Art submissions should be uploaded in the most appropriate image file format. If art submissions are too large to submit through Google Forms, please reach out to our email. Art will be published in black-and-white, so be sure you are OK with that.

Fiction and non-fiction submissions are limited to two submissions per person and should be no more than 3,000 words.

Please submit no more than five poems and five art pieces in the medium of your choice.

If your submission is accepted for publication, we will contact you by email. If your submission is not accepted, we will likewise notify you by email.

Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines will not be considered.
